Crime Scene Chemistry

Test you skills as a crime scene investigator!

When examining a crime scene, investigators must look for "hidden"
evidence. Often times, evidence such as fingerprints or bloodstains that
have been washed and cannot be seen by the naked eye are found. They also
find stains that could be a similar looking substance, something other than
blood, such as red paint. How would you test a stain to see if it is
blood? In this workshop participants will be performing two techniques that
investigators use to locate and analyze blood evidence. What other types
of tests do investigators use when studying a crime scene?
