Student Seminar Program

Welcome! Student Seminar Committee (SSC) is a voluntary organization of chemistry graduate students, whose purpose is to invite distinguished members of the research community to give lectures as a part of the Student Seminar Series. Our goal is to foster direct contact between students and the speaker. Therefore the series is entirely student-run, and speakers spend the day meeting with graduate students, postdocs, and research groups. Speakers are chosen based on the results of a yearly poll of the students in the department. If you are interested in getting more information about a seminar, meeting with an upcoming speaker, or about participating as a member in SSC, please contact: Bryce Marquis (marq0096i@umn.edu) or Alexi Young (young709@umn.edu) if you have any questions.
