The special exhibit "Shape and Symmetry: The Beauty of Science at the Nanoscale" held at the Science Museum of Minnesota during Nanodays 2010 (March 29-April 3), introducing the public to nanostructured materials. The artwork was provided by Professor A. Stein's research group and was based in part on research from NSF-funded projects.

Scenes from a chemistry demonstration show for elementary school students in 2008 and examples of student's thank you letters. Note that the students remembered the safety goggles in their drawings. At least one grade-2 student mentioned to his teacher after the show that he wanted to become a chemist when he grows up.
