The exam only covers chapter 1-2. For Chapter 2, it only covers up to "Intermolecular Forces". Statistics of First Exam: Average = 117 points (out of 150); It's great, class, almost an A-performance! Lowest = 12 pts, Highest = 149 pts.

What wil be covered in the test: Chater 7: sections 7-1 through 7-11 will be on the test. Chater 8: sections 8-1 through 8-13 will be on the test. What NOT covered in the test: Sections 8-14 through 8-16 (oxidation by KMnO4 and ozonolysis) will NOT be on the test. Due to TAs time-conflict, Test 4 will not be graded until Friday, 4/7. Thus, you will get them back next Monday. Thanks for your patience; this type of things happens sometimes. The 5th test is on Friday, April 28. Ch 8(oxidation), 9, 12, 13 I have scheduled Review sessions on Saturday and Sunday. Location: Smith 231 Time: 2:00 - 3:00 (or as needed) Required? No.
