To seek a challenging research, process development, quality assurance position in the area of separation science where my talents and skills can be fully utilized

Ultra-fast two dimensional separations with liquid chromatography

· Effect of second dimensional gradient time is investigated.

· Comparison of two dimensional HPLC and NMR is investigated.

Chiral separations by liquid chromatography

· Effects of temperature and pressure to chiral separations with cyclodextrin stationary phase are investigated. (thermodynamic and kinetic characterizations)

· Effect of mobile phase composition to chiral separation with cyclodextrin stationary phase is investigated. (equilibrium achievement, nonlinear isotherm, thermodynamic and kinetic characterizations)

Stochastic simulation

· Theoretical methods for extracting kinetic rate constants in liquid chromatography are compared and evaluated. Peak tailing phenomenon is investigated.

Nitrogen-containing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (N-PAH) characterization

· Thermodynamic and kinetic characterization of N-PAHs with ODS stationary phase

· Selective fluorescence quenching of N-PAHs by aliphatic amines
