Committee Mission Statement

The Graduate Student Workshop Committee (GSWC) is a student-run organization within the Department of Chemistry at the University of Minnesota. In collaboration with the Office of the Director of Graduate sdfsdf, the GSWC creates high-quality programs of relevance to the department’s graduate students and postdoctoral researchers, with special emphasis on career preparation and professional development. The goals of the committee are three-fold:

• Produce workshops and pertinent resources of interest to graduate students and postdoctoral researchers in the field of chemistry

• Promote opportunities for student/faculty interaction outside the traditional classroom setting
• Provide student leadership, professional service, and networking opportunities


The purpose of this website is to serve as a resource highlighting up-coming activities, as well as useful summaries and tips from past workshop programs.
