NOM Research
Kris McNeill studies the chemical mechanisms of environmental processes, and has particular interest in the areas of photochemistry and metal-mediated processes. Dr. McNeill's NOM interests include understanding how photochemical processes degrade NOM and thus are important in the cycling of carbon. Because of the many and various roles that natural organic matter plays in the environment, the study of NOM is part of many of the research projects in Dr. McNeill's laboratory.
