The results of the morning's Weird Science demostration. During the afternoon demo, the guests Lee Marek, Bob Lewis, and DeWayne Lieneman wondered aloud sarcastically, why they weren't often asked back for repeat performances. This shot of the mess afterwards adds to the humor.

Student created a simple barometer. Liquid in the plastic bottle was at one atmosphere. A test tube was suspended upside down and filled with air in the bottle. When exterior pressure was applied to the bottle, the air in the test tube was pushed up by the liquid.
Motions in air and liquid often have similar appearance and form. A tornado experiment using two different colored liquids simulates the actual atmospheric weather conditions.
