October 8 - Friday Events

7:00 Greet and Eat

Sign up and we’ll arrange dinner at a restaurant with other alumni in groups of 6-8 people. Get together to reminisce and renew old acquaintances and friendships!

October 9 - Saturday Events

Scheduled in conjunction with the Centennial Celebration is the Departmental Minisymposium in Chemistry. This is a full day of activities and events geared toward undergraduate students (mainly from midwest colleges) who are interested in graduate studies in chemistry.  Faculty advisors are encouraged to attend with their students in order to become better acquainted with what the University of Minnesota's Chemistry Department has to offer students exploring graduate school possibilities. The faculty talks and tours are aimed at these students but Centennial Celebration guests are welcome to attend this part of the day's events as well.
