Chemical Biology: Unlocking Nature's Secrets
University of Minnesota NIH Training Grant Symposium
Chemical Biology Initiative Event
June 1, 2005
Present A Poster
All symposium attendees are invited to present a poster. We hope that the poster session will provide a forum for graduate students and post docs, from a variety of departments, to showcase their research and learn about other interdisciplinary science.
As an incentive to students for presenting their work and to highlight the student-focus of the symposium, one student poster presenters will be chosen to orally present their work as part of the symposium program. This talk will be 15 minutes long, with 5 additional minutes reserved for questions. The student presenter will be selected by the Symposium Organizing Committee based on the quality and content of their poster session abstract, and notified two weeks prior to the symposium.
In previous years, suggestions have been made that the poster session was too short. Taking these suggestions into consideration, this year we have separated the poster session into two sections.
Poster Set-Up: 8:00 - 8:30 am
First Poster Session: 11:20-12:20
Second Poster Session: 2:15-3:05 pm
Best Poster Award: 4:15 pm
